Jaswinder Sallan :

Jaswinder is a native inhabitant of Nara Village of Hoshiarpur district of Punjab.

Work Responsibilities of Jaswinder Sallan at Anhad Organic Farms –

1. Consultant and advisor for organic farming

 

 

Education :

  1. Jaswinder completed his schooling from Government school of Hoshiarpur.
  2. He completed his college in B.A Arts from Government college of Hoshiarpur.

 

Work :

  1. Jaswinder managed a small-scale handicrafts and furniture workshop in which carpenters were employed by him for manufacturing wooden furniture and wooden handicrafts for many years. He had discontinued that business due to some reasons.
  2. He has worked as an organic farmer and consultant in organic farming for the past 35 years. He has managed farms of the area of 100 acres.
  3. He works in the forest of Nara Village in a job.

Prabhaat :

Prabhaat is an organic farmer. He belongs to Hoshiarpur, Punjab.

 

Education –

  1. He completed his schooling from D.A.V school of Hoshiarpur.

2.  He completed his graduation in B.A Pass from Punjab Technical University, Hoshiarpur, Punjab.

 

Work responsibilities –

Prabhaat manages the practical work on our farm using his tractor.

Kuber arora kapoor :

About Kuber :

Kuber is a native inhabitant of Delhi.

 

Work responsibilities at Anhad Organic Farm –

1. Maintainence and security fencing of farm,

2. Website designing with blogs

3. Packaging of organic farm products

4. Sales of organic farm products,

5. Coordination of shipment between farm and logistics service provider for courier of organic farm products from farm to organic food stores in Delhi N.C.R.

 

Kuber’s Education :

  • Learner at Software Freedom Camp 2022 organised by Free Software community of India which taught him the philosophy of Freedom software which is GNU-Linux software and helped me in shifting from proprietary software to freedom software. Its duration was 4 months and mode of learning was online through XMPP apps like Bigbluebutton, Codema.  Kuber uses 100% GNU-linux softwares for professional purpose of Debian GNU-linux Operating system. https://fsci.in/
  •  He learned how to use Command line in GNU-Linux Operating system and E-mail   encryption (called as Gnu privacy guard) from Free Software Foundation, USA . He is a student member of FSF.   https://fsf.org

  • Kuber has learned Business copywriting from Gurpreet Singh. He has studied this book Business Copywriting written by Steven Slaunwhite in 2018.
  • Kuber attended Screen-writing workshop taught by screenwriter Anjum Rajabali at
    Jagran Film Festival at Siri Fort Auditorium, Green Park, Delhi in 2016.
  • In 2016, he attended a workshop on Urban gardening from Edible routes. In 2019, he started volunteer work on an organic farm of Edible Routes in Delhi to learn basics of farming twice a week for an year. Edible routes practices Permaculture. The name of the founder of Edible Routes is Kapil Mandawewala. He studied a book named ‘The Book on Indian Trees’ written by K.C Sahni in 2022.
  • He had completed 2-year diploma in Stage Acting and Production (auditorium only) from Shri Ram Center of Performing Arts, Delhi in 2014-15.

 

Kuber’s Work :

     1. Anhad Organic Farms – Organic Farming – In 2021, Kuber was inspired by the efforts  done by Vandana Shiva related to Seed saving and her fight against GMO seeds manufacturers. He was also inspired from work done by Kapil sir, founder of Edible Routes Permaculture Farms. He decided to purchase a farmland in Hoshiarpur to pursue organic farming under the advise of an organic farmer named Jaswinder Sallan. Kuber writes articles/blogs related to environmental protection and organic farming. He is responsible for Maintainence and Security, Sales at Anhad Organic Farms.  https://bit.ly/anhadfarms

Sodhi is a native inhabitant of Nara village, Hoshiarpur district, Punjab

Work Responsibilities of Sodhi – Ploughing for creating farm beds or क्यारी , Tractor trolley for transportation of mature crops like mustard after harvesting from farm to kolu for extracting cold-pressed mustard oil.
