Our Story :

Anhad is a farm for Organic Farming and Tree Plantation. It is located in a beautiful village of Nara in Punjab, India. Their is a huge RAIN WATER HARVESTING DAM IN NARA.  Our farm gets water supply from this RWH Dam through an underground pipeline. Kuber was inspired from Vandana Shiva of Navdanya and Kapil Mandawewala of Edible routes to pursue organic farming.

 

We at Anhad, as part of our experience we are focusing on 4 core areas :

  • Growing Poplar trees for plywood industry. This saves our forests from being chopped down for the requirement of plywood in homes and offices.
  • Growing fruit trees like  lemon, papaaya that is free from chemicals pesticides & chemical fertilizers.
  • Providing educational knowledge about dangers of chemical agriculture and Global warming or Global heating to fellow farmers.
  • Writing a book on Global heating

 

We grow the following categories :

  1. Fruits Trees like Lemon, Papaaya/Papeeta, Dates/Khajoor
  2. Moringaa or drumsticks used in south indian food
  3. Plywood tree Poplar for wood in homes and offices
  4. Peppermint oil from Peppermint/Menthaa
  5. Mustard/Sarso Oil from Sarso
  6. Peanuts
  7. Sunflower oil from Sunflower

These are the rules we follow in Organic Farming at Anhad :

– No Chemical Fertilizers

– No Chemical Pesticides

– Growing trees on the farm or afforestation to stop Global Heating

 

Our actions in personal life and at work reflect our love for mother Earth and we dedicate ourselves to save it from the destructive phenomenon of Global Heating. We share our learnings with the community of India and other countries through our research journals.
